About Us

From the inhumane siege, sanctions and genocide to the complete levelling and indiscriminate bombings of Gaza, we need to help 2.3 million people (including over 1.1 million+ children) in Gaza, today.

For the 18 years (since 2007) leading up 7/10, bombs have been falling on Gaza.

However, during the last two years, the number of graves has multiplied at breakneck speed. Markets today look more like graveyards and worn out cash is nearly worthless paper. Malnourished children have become skeleton covered in skin. Every wrinkle on the faces of ordinary Palestinians tell a story of immense hardships, pain and acute suffering. It is like a nightmare inside a horror movie filled with dropping bombs, tanks shells, vibrations, explosions and echoing screams.

But the borders are sealed, aid is restricted and 97 percent of bank ATMs are not working in Gaza. What can we do to help right now?

The role of a donor is to research, scrutinise, find a charity you can trust and donate.

The job of a charity is to: (1) find ways to send the money/aid across into Gaza using all means possible, and (2) regularly disclose evidence (photos/videos) of aid distribution on its website.

At The Gaza Fund, we have completed over 51+ aid projects in 23 months. These are micro in size and scale but are real, trackable and impactful. Where possible, we have photos and videos to prove it. Sure, aid is restricted into Gaza but limited food grown in Khan Younis is available, albeit at a very high price. We will never let this deter us from helping as many or few Palestinians as we can, iA.

In fact at The Gaza Fund, we are all guided by the saying:

You can’t change the world but you can change the world of a single person.

This sits at the very core of our belief. We may not be able to help a million Palestinians but our goal is to help hundreds if not thousands, whenever we can.

Importantly, if there is a charity carrying out similar projects to ours, we believe in lending support rather than competing with each other for funds. Unless we commit to a fraternal approach, we will collectively fail in our goal of making a difference to the people in Gaza.

Apart from charity, The Gaza Fund also engages in:

actionable research, advocacy and campaigning to help Gaza achieve independence from aid and will continue to do everything we can to throw a wrench in the gears of the illegal blockade, sanctions, siege and occupation of Palestine.

Can we change the world?, no. Can we change the world of a single person, Yes!
