The key is to find the tiny bit of water in the glass that appears empty. Maybe it’s a Palestinian thing, hope and resilience.
To assist in poverty related projects in Gaza
To empower local population in Gaza to become independent from aid
To raise money to fund poverty projects and engage in research, advocacy and campaigning to help highlight barriers to ending poverty
To support hunger, sickness and poverty relief programmes, support education and women related projects in Gaza
To reduce the hardships in any meaningful and measurable form
Instead of launching emergency projects with the greatest emotional appeal for public fundraising or trying obsessively to raise more money year-on-year, The Gaza Fund should focus on the long-term needs of Gaza and its people by:
- regularly reviewing our projects;
- (re)questioning its impact;
- remaining mission-driven.
