Our goal is to be as transparent as possible, and disclose whatever we can in meaningful, digestible bits.

To this end, we will disclose everything required by law and well beyond what is required – so as to contribute to advancing the Islamic humanitarian sector.

PLANS FOR 2023:

The Gaza Fund aims to classify (1) Zakah (2) Sadaqah & (3) Qurbani separately, when attributing income and expenditure in our annual accounts, for ease of reference for all our donors.

The Gaza Fund also aims to record how much exactly is spent on different categories/projects eligible for Zakah, given how Zakah is considered in shariah as restricted fund.
