WHAT CAN WE DO THAT HAS NOT ALREADY BEEN DONE?

The “Israel-Palestine issue” is not the problem. The occupation is at the very core of the problem but to end the occupation we need to first weaken the stranglehold of the Israeli lobby on Congress.

But How?

BY ENCOURAGING AMERICANS TO RISE UP & DEMAND:

1. PACs and Super PACs can fund elections (but stronger oversight needed on what they expect in return).

2. The U.S government terminate financial aid to Israel.

3. No member of Congress or spouse, siblings or children can buy or own direct shareholding in any weapons manufacturers in US or overseas.

4. The billions spent on Israel be reallocated towards better housing, education, infrastructure, healthcare and student loans in the United States.

5. The Department of Treasury lift sanctions on ordinary Palestinians.

6. The S&P DJ Indices Committee & the Averages Committee at S&P DJ Indices to review the technical criteria and remove at least 8 key brands and companies that operate in the Occupied Palestinian Territories, given the SRI/ESG violations.

6. Blackrock, Vanguard and State Street (who collectively hold shares in 80% of S&P companies) to divest from at least 8 key brands and companies that operate in the Occupied Palestinian Territories.

Note: We can protest all we want but the real untested power lies in the hand of ordinary Americans.

WORLDWIDE, WE SHOULD:

1. Be surgical, not indiscriminate about boycotting companies, brands and countries that directly or indirectly support the Israeli occupation.

2. Circulate a properly vetted list of companies, brands and countries among everyone we know.

3. Encourage anti-Zionist Jews to come together and voice their opinion.

Our singular end goal is not to promote flowery mutual understanding. Rather, an end to the occupation itself.
